Howdy! My name is Miss Erika, the Cowgirl. I work with the Cowboy Dentists, Dr. Aaron and Dr. Stephen Miller. I provide interactive and free preventive dentistry presentations to pre-schools and elementary schools in Lancaster County for children 3 - 8 years old. I will arrive at your school in my cowgirl outfit and my demonstration hand puppets, and pony Sheriff Chompers, who will assist me. My presentation is 30 minutes in length and is a Rootin-Tootin-Good-Time! We will discuss cowboys and cowgirls, and of-course, ways for children to care for their teeth. I give out a cartoon that lists good snacks, bad snacks, and concentrations of sugar in different cereals. I also give out horse stickers and other prizes!

Please contact me to schedule your school now via email - or contact our office and ask for Miss Erika. Check out my new website!

The program was presented very well. The presenter was funny and very informative. The students got a lot of information about taking care of their teeth. The magic tricks, prizes and being involved were the children’s favorite part of the program.

– Mr. William Lininger Dean of Students
Park Elementary School

The Children enjoyed the presentation very much. The children liked the happy and unhealthy sad teeth and snack activity.

– Kindergarten Teacher Lucinda Michael
Fulton Elementary School

It was directed at the level and presented to our children so they could understand it clearly. The magic was cool.

– Kindergarten Teacher Nancy Murphy
Highland Elementary School

This was a great program! It was age appropriate and kept the kids interested. The visual props were fun for the kids and the program was a nice introduction to dental health. The kids loved the thumbs up and thumbs down portion of involvement. They had a great time seeing their friends dressed up as cowboys and cowgirls. The children like “helping” with choosing good and bad snacks.

– Pre-School Director Jessica Steinman
Lancaster Brethren Preschool

The program was very educational. Erik brought dental health information down to the preschool level. The Good and bad snack portion of the program and the children’s involvement were their favorite parts.

– Center Director Michelle Patterson
Kinderhook Children’s Center

The program was wonderful! Very fun and easy to look at. Miss Erika is full of energy and the kids really listened and learned a lot about their teeth. It was so kid friendly to watch and they enjoyed the magic Miss Erika brings.

– Preschool Teacher Erin Groff
Owl Hill Learning Center

The children liked most the “sticky is icky ..gummy is crummy” phrase. The kids also loved the magic coloring book and magic flower. They enjoyed dressing up as a cowgirl and cowboy.

– Preschool Teacher Shelly Weik
